Looking for a 4990 or 4870 scanner.

I have a 4870 for sale but I don't know what it's worth. I have the original box/packaging and all the holders. Make me an offer??

It should scan up to 5x7, not sure about 8x10 though.

I don't know of a reasonable offer as I haven't seen the 4870 on the used market since I've started looking for a scanner.

I have not seen a 4990 for that matter,be nice to get a 700 or 750 for cheap.

Check the Epson website regularly under their clearence section. They get V700's and sometime 4990's and refurbish them.
A way better value than ebay.

Yeah, I just missed the 4990 they had on there last week. I was hoping to see them back up this week, but alas they haven't posted any new refurbs.

There is little quality difference (there is SOME difference) between the old 4870 and the v700 other than maximum transparency scan size. The attraction of this one is that it's barely been used and it's VERY affordable. Make me any reasonable offer and it's yours. I'm in a financial crunch and need all the cash I can get. I'll give you a one week in-your-hands money back guarantee sans shipping.

Is it okay if I box it and let you know tomorrow night? I'm not feeling very well at the moment.

I bought the last one on that listing, the 4990 is very nice. Great looking scans and easy to use. $279 no other charges from Epson.

I was checking often, they will have some more I'm sure. I've missed out a couple of times my self.

No, I just got lucky, right time, right scanner, right price. I will be upgrading later on down the road after I get a new printer but that will be a while.

Lucky you,I gave up after a while, now I can't spend any money tell after April 15 if there's any left.

Look at it this way, I just saved you $279! Not bad for missing out! :D

I got a refurbished 4490 for $100 with shipping and I am very happy with it. Check out the refurbished scanners.

Thats a good deal $100.Right now the IRS is going to suck out every bit of GAS I've got for a while.

Gee whizz... I was hoping to get at least $100 plus shipping for mine. I guess I'll gift it to my brother instead. Sorry Will but you might as well buy direct from Epson.

If you change your mind and as long as shipping isn't outrageous, I'm still interested.

Thanks, Will, but for the $70 so I'd get for it after shipping fees I'd rather just gift to to my brother. I'm sorry. Besides, Epson may give you a better warranty.
