Looking to purchase a Black canon AV-1 that is working correctly - ie. metering accurately, back light comp. button working, selftimer working, shutter speeds accurate.

Cosmetic condition not so important - I do not mind general wear, bumps and scratches etc.

I am located in Australia so willing to post to Aus is necessary.

Please reply or best PM if you have such a camera for sale. Thanks!>

Why do you need a black one if the cosmetic state is not important.
(It's not my business, but I'm curious... In other words if to choose between a black and a silver body I'd not know how to choose. With lighting stands for reasons unclear to me I chose the black versions so far...)

There's a seemingly working one on ebay right now for $99 BIN.

i'll send them a message. my experience currently is that most sellers do not want to guarante the functionlity of the camera because i suspect they do not know enought about the specific camera. I also bought one off ebay a few weeks ago that had a seriously inaccurate meter

If you could get over the need for it to be black, KEH has a well-working chrome one for $29 US.

Thanks for letting me know, the chrome ones do seem to be a bit more common and cheaper price. I already have a chrome one so am looking for a black one

I understand. I have a pair of Nikon FEs (one black, one chrome) in my manual focus bag - I found the black one opportunistically and bought it for that very purpose. Very easy to tell the bodies apart.
