I just use cheap photo frames with glass, shallow frames are best, dont leave shadows on the edges. Just use a couple of slats on the back held on by screws and a thin piece of ply to keep it all tight. Cost about $7 and works for me.

I never used a split back. Just a suggestion that might tied you over till you can get the real thing.

I have one that is just over 11x14 internal measurements. I'm not sure of it's source, but it looks just like the Photo Formulary model 07-2205. The issue will be cost to ship. I have an appropriate box but it will still be expensive to ship given box size. PM me if interested and I'll reply with some photos and price. If you have a UPS or FedEx account, you might get a better discount on shipping.
