I'm looking for a 6x9cm view camera. I'm willing to consider various options, but ideally looking for something like a decent 6x9cm monorail or technical camera. This will mostly be used with lenses in the 50-100mm range for architecture, so a bit of precision and plenty of rise are requirements. My budget isn't small, exactly, but it isn't immense either.

I'm living in Shanghai now, too, so bonus points if you'll ship abroad and I don't have to have a friend re-ship for me from the US (though I can do this if necessary).

Serious inquiries only, please. I'd love an Arca F-Metric, but unless you want to help me get to grad school with an awesome portfolio and sell me the camera for $500, it'll be out of my budget.

A camera like the Horseman VH-R might be just the ticket, I love that camera. I'm not sure if it has the movements you need though. Good luck with your quest, Bob.

There has been an Arca Swiss 6x9 on my local craigslist for months. Might drop the guy a note about shipping-

I use a Horseman VH 6x9 (the VH-R has the rangefinder). It's fine for what I do- urban landscapes and such. Its movements for alens under 75mm might be limited. All in all I beliive that a monorail 4x5 with bag bellows and 6x9 roll film backs might be a better way to get sophisticated movements?
