Looking for a 4x5 field or press camera. Preferably wooden 4x5 like Tachiharas. For press cameras, Busch Pressman or the crown graphic would work. In good working condition, bellows good, doesn't matter if a lens is included.

Would like to keep it under $275, but I would pay more for a field...

Do you prefer pretty and more expensive or ugly and cheaper?

The crown graphic doesn't have a revolving back. You need a super graphic.

A Burke and James Grover 4x5 press camera would fit the description, it has a revolving back plus uses easier to find(and make)4x4 lens boards. They are rock solid little beasts, though a little heavier than a wood camera, aluminum body. I certainly love mine, and they can usually be found in your price range.

A Burke and James Press would work very well. It has a revolving back and fairly generous movements. It is also can have quite a bit of bellows extension.

Look at MPP MkVII. Got everything you need and great in the field.

I have ugly press style cameras and pretty ones. The uglier they are the cheaper they cost.

Interesting... Never heard of that before. Doesn't seem like it's easy to find one.

Three on eBay right now. One comes with three lenses... (Correction, in effect four lenses as the Symmar is two lenses in one, a 150 and a 265)

Do you mind sending me a link? I cannot seem to find it.

My guess is that the MPP is listed on the UK eBay site and you're looking at the US site. MPP cameras are pretty rare over here. Which is not to say there's anything wrong with them.

I'd suggest a Super Graphic..

It's a Press camera with a reasonable amount of movements, I've been using one for about 5 or 6 years now as I can work handheld with it. I also have Crown & Speed Graphics but I find the movements very limiting. My main field camera is a Wista but I find the Super Graphic is an excellent compromise and I enjoy using it. A bit lighter than an MPP.

I have Super Graphics I can sell too... varied pricing depending on cosmetic condition.

I have a B+J Press camera I am trying to sell. PM me details. It has revolving back and tilt/rise functions. Thanks
