Want to Buy WTB 4x5 enlarger

Now, that I finally have a darkroom, I'd like to find a nice, complete and ready to go 4x5 enlarger.

I am not in a hurry and do not want to spend too much, after just having finished the darkroom, price range in the 3 digit dollars.

For the usual reason, I am not interested in getting it shipped, will pick up in a 200 mile radius around Roanoke, VA.

I have a motorized 4x5 Beseler color enlarger w/almost every carrier made for it--110, disc,4x5, etc. $200, but I'm a little farther away--Youngstown, Ohio. Takes 4hrs to drive from here to DC.

Ohio is clearly out of driving range for now, so I replied to that one first.

In the mean time there was a local option I was exploring, which didn't pan out...

I can offer you Omega "D" with variable condenser and a 3 lens turret with 50mm, 80mm and 135mm Nikkor lenses.

My most favorite 4x5 enlarger was a Dursr L1200,whichI had to sell for€100 due to the lack of interested buyers.

I have an Omega D5 in good shape for free .... the lenses and carriers are another story ... Except I'm a 7 hour drive north of Toronto .... you'd have to come on a fishing trip.

I have several friends in Roanoke ... maybe I can talk them into coming for a visit and sending it back with them ... Chitwood, White-Santos and Saunders ( no relation.) But I do see VA plates up here quite often in the summer.

Wish I'd known you were letting it go so cheaply.........I've managed to acquire 2x L1200's and an L1000.....just in case
