Looking for an affordable wide angle for a 6x9 project that I'm kinda on the fence about. I was going to convert a couple folders into a 6x17 with a helical mounted 90mm but once I stripped the 'donor bodies', one of them looks soooo good I'm having second thoughts about talking a saw and dremel to it. Thinking I might just build a smaller little camera for travel if i can find a decent lens for it.

Otherwise its over to the workbench and off with its head!

Decent glass and fully functioning shutter, let me know if you have one that want getting enough use and you would like to sell.

Thanks!
Dirk

I have a modern 47mm f/5.6 MC in Copal press shutter. Might be a bit spendy for you at ÂŁ340?

Also have the matching Schneider helical mount if you want that. They seem to go for around ÂŁ200.

That’s a good price, let me think about it, I’m working on a compact 6x9 camera which is why I really trying to find a clean f/8 but I’m surprised how rare they seem to be.
I’ll let you know, thanks!

Wow... I didn’t think that lens would come up so fast! And it’s a 5.6!

I have a f/8 Super Angular off of a Graflex XL. No idea what a fair price for it is though.

Found an early f/5.6, I’ll post pics of the final camera in the builders group once it’s done.

Dirk

If you want small and light weight a Super Angulon isn't. Try a regular Angulon without the "Super". It is a small compact lens, moderately wide angle, about 80 degrees (IIRC). Most are 90's, but they made a 65mm.
