Goodmorning serious photographers,

I myself am just a 35mm 120 shooter. But I have been given this 3D camera to sell and buy myself a lens for my Leica m2.......but, to be honest, I don't know the value of this camera. So I am curious if I can look for a jupiter, voigtlander or leica lens

Any info is more than welcome?

Someone posted here that he'd bought one, it was his only post I think he paid $300 for it. They are used to produce3d lenticular photos so rather specialis but build around a 10x8 monorail camera.

The value is what someone who wants to experiment will pay.

Tx Ian,

Of course, I hope for a better value as the camera weighs quite a bit.......unfortunately it didn't come with a monorail.

I hope I can find someone who is willing to pay at least $300, do you have the link to the thread, perhaps??

Again tx and stay safe, stay healthy?

Do a google search fo the model there's plenty there, the link here doesn't mention the price but another site gives the price it sold for. Hadn't realised the rail itself was missing that poses a larger problem selling it.

You'd get more for a complete camera , rather than selling it as a parts .
It might be worth your while finding a compatible part to make it compleat .
Regards price , for a specialist camera .
Depends on if you can find someone that wants it , and how much their willing to pay .

Heavy and uncommon doesn't mean expensive .

The trick is is to have two people wanting it , both bidding on it .
You could try it on eBay with a starting bid if the minimum your prepared to accept for it .
Have it on for a week , and renew the listing each time it doesn't sell .
After a few attempts , you might realise it's not going to sell for what you want , and you have to relist it at a lower starting bid .

Avoid listing it with a hidden reserve , there a big turn off .

You could try listing it at a set price too , or having a firm that sells cameras do it for you for a commission .
In the UK Ffordes do this .
You send it to them , they list it at a fair price .
If they sell it , they keep a percentage .

@neilt3 , really appreciate the info...........I hope a missing monorail might be the easiest part to replace ( I don't want to put any money into it)

I normally put an item on eBay with a fixed price and open for a bid. 6 out of 10 times potential buyers offer 50-60% of my asking price and I can negotiate......
an item with bidding price-setting only helps me if it's a well-known item.

I would guess whoever marketed that camera rebadged a monorail from some known supplier, rather than tooling up to build an entire camera from scratch. It would help if you could figure that out to find the missing rail. It sort of looks like a (Japanese) Plaubel monorail, but there is one link on the web that says it's based on a Toyo. The dimensions (even the dimensions of the lensboard) would likely help you in your research.

Tx reddesert,

I found this photo on the web with the monorail........all 3 clamps are there.

monorail.jpg

I am going to list the camera and see what happens, else I might sell for parts as the bellows, lens and back plate seems to be nice.

So here are the missing monorails and the camera setup
2_monorails.jpg

And really glad I found the original monorails as it runs really smooth (changing the bellows), the mono rail has 2 larger slots and 1 which is the leader slot.................smart design.
Going to update my listing as soon as the offers expire.

Again, thanks for thinking along
