Greetings. I need some help. They know a stereoscopic camera called WT 102 MULTI-DIMENSION CAMERA. Anyone know IT? can do with it? Thank you.

Hi, Your post was three years ago, not sure if you will get this. I have a WT 102 also.

I am bidding for this camera, complete with all documentation and with all the necessary accessoires, but I am wondering about the film that is needed, can anybody provide some insights on this system. and possibly the value.

I have this camera but with the standard back, so I can't advice about the lenticular capabilities. But it's a decent 8x10 camera with all the movements. I wouldn't call it rugged -- lots of plastic -- so it's best suited as a studio camera. I had Mr. Ritter customize mine to take a 6x6 lensboard.

These don't come up very often, so it's hard to value. Based on my research at the time I bought mine (and since), I'd put it in the $500 to $1000 range depending on condition, accessories, and how important the lenticular ability is to you.

Also, since it's a rarity, keep in mind that parts will be very hard to find.

Hello everyone.

This seems to be the only place on the whole wide web where I can find any information about this fascinating camera.

I have recently bought one on catawiki and although it doesn't seem to work I don't expect it should be that difficult to get working again.
I was wondering whether any of you had any information about the camera, or even an operating manual.

Gary, a.k.a. Platinumphotographer was rather helpful, explaining that you need to find a lenticular sheet identical to the one that's mounted on the camera in order to view the contact sheets properly in 3d

any information you guys might have would be ever so welcome

Hello Guys,

I have one of these cameras, but I am not sure if it's complete? Someone is asking if I have both lenses, but to my knowledge it only comes with one lens

Based on these image, do you see something this camera is missing? And what would be a fair value?

Hello,

Do you still have the camera? I myself have three WT 102 cameras; one without a lenticular back intended for normal use.
At that time there were four special lenses available ranging from wide angle, standard, telephoto and even macro.

From the top of my head a standard set contained the following parts:

- Camera lens board
- 300 mm special lens
- Rectangular lens filter holder
- Bellows
- Camera rail + tripod mount + extension rail
- Camera back - lenticular
- Shutter release cable (not the ones shown in the photos) into camera back
- focusing screen
- Power adapter
- Camera back - standard 8x10 (non-lenticular) for normal film use
- No-hole blank lens board (for normal lenses)
- Film holders (2)
- User and warranty information

As a normal 8x10 camera, the value is not high, at most 250-300 euros and then only as a collector's item. Practically maybe even less. As a lenticular stereo camera, the camera might be worth a bit more for someone who can execute the entire workflow involved. Do you consider to sell it?

Well I still have mine. It doesn't have lenticular anything, but it's a capable enough 8x10 camera and I would suspect I could get $500 or so for it (what I paid for it). It's probably not the most durable, but I have taken it to various events and it travels just fine. Thanks for posting the docs.

Well Rick, I'm not interested in buying the camera, but I sure would enjoy some pictures. Did you get the 3d part to work? do you have to use a special paper/lens to view the photo?

Thanks for your interest, and yes I have taken images in 3D with this camera it would be just the same process as taking a normal 10 x 8 image but with a lenticular screen between the film and the lens, once the film has been processed you can view the image through the screen to give you that 3D effect. also you can use film neg or film positive
or even photographic paper and process it in the dark room. I will try and upload some image for you . Thanks Ricki

Does this use two lenses then to get a 3d effect?, and is the lenticular part not a consumable? The lenticular stays with the system, and is put on each picture to view? so you can't "give away" a 3d picture?

Hi Digger
Just one lens with a motorised shutter that moves from left to right, the lenticular part stays in the back between the lens and the film, you can buy a pack of screens to fix over the images that you wish to give away.

Can you please tell me where you got your lenticular screens from, how many Lines Per Inch they are (for 8x10" and 16x20" (enlargements)), and how much they cost? In a short while I might be interested to buy your camera, depending on the price. How much are you asking for it?

I got a pack of ten screens 16x20 with the camera, so have no idea how much they cost, I will include an image so you can count the lines per inch, I managed to count 25.
Will also upload image of pack with name on, but not sure if the company are still trading, hope this helps.

I'm afraid that Worthy Trivision Ltd. (the camera manufacturer) went out of business a long time ago.
I was assuming that you bought the lenticular screens not so long ago and could help me with some supplier info.

I had been in touch with Monark cameras a while ago, but it seems that now they got rid of most of their WT-102 stuff (see picture).
