Pretty cool project. His camera looks like it has been used a lot.

A month or so ago I saw an article on something very similar if not the same as this but they were pictures in a studio if I remember of practically entire "family" groups not just a couple of people on the street. neat concept!

way cool

Now that is street photography with a plus!

I wish I could make myself do something like that with strangers. I am entirely to consumed by my midwestern (Minnesota, actually) reticence.

yes i know how to circumvent it, the sigh is about the whole business of content blocking.

freedom becomes redefined as the freedom to pay ...

Thank you for the alterative link!
(Under the first link it is not available in Germany too. I wonder why.
In other cases of banning there are hints at rights on the music used in a video. In Germany a great lot of videos are banned for the latter reason.)

Great photographic idea! I guess I should try similar...

albertphot, thank you (you are clearly more patient and persistent than I!)

not sighing now - that was really delightful to watch

(so thanks also maineetc )

Interesting work very arranged so not really classical Street Photography but still good.

This video is not available in your country.

:ninja::cool:!

I expect the links are restricted because CBS News re-sells their content to networks in other countries.

So if you are in a country that has a network that re-broadcasts the content locally, that network has the contractual right to post (or refrain from posting) that content on the internet.

It doesn't matter

Use photography to overcome your shyness. Photography is therapeutic. In this case, the photographer used his camera to push their subjects out of their comfort zone.

Is that a 5x7 it 8x10? The video lens is distorted and I'm on my phone so it's hard to tell...

Also, man I assume that he's using Portra400? That's a crazy amount of "street photography" wow!
