What do you mean by a gimmick I'm not sure I follow...

he probably means doing a "series" of similar pics--each one with some hook with the others--the hook is the gimmick--AND it's an "excuse" to take the pics. If you just want a picture of someone, it's not likely to happen when you're asked for a reason and you say "because I want to"...that don't fly--people need a reason. Give them one, and then they comply. Bizarre programming of the masses, but that's how they get people to give up their lives in wars and such--give them a justification and they'll do anything to please.

While I applaud the concept and his attempts... he didn't spend enough time with the subjects. Most of them are very uncomfortable at the moment of exposure. Sorry... I don't intend to poop in your thread but that guy is doing a half-ass job of it.
