Wow! Lucky purchase of Peak Grain Focuser

Although I've been using for years a still perfectly functional Peak Enlarging Focuser Model 2, I always dreamed about having the Model 1, but that was too expensive for me.

A couple of weeks ago I bite the bullet, thinking this item will not remain available for too much time, and bought the "Peak Critical Enlarging Focuser Model 1" for $260 at that famous NYC store. This was essentially the same price this item had twelve years ago, when I bought my Model 2.

Today, I checked the price (don't know why) and now the price is $350 !!!

I feel lucky today...
