Go ahead and buy it! If you ever need to "toss" something, just let me know when and where I have to be with my big baseball glove!

Last couple of posts don't seem to reflect the fact that the kit is no longer for sale.
This is something to take into consideration since my intentions are to sell it. Especially since I just shelled out $700 for a rz67 pro II kit. What I didn't see in the original post is whether you want it to use or to simply turn around a sell.
If you actually want the H'blad to use, it's worth more than it is to "flip". Particularly if you have to repair any items. Selling prices for CLAd gear never seem to equal the sum of used (working) gear and the cost of a CLA.
And then consider that, if you're selling it as "working" (and not selling to a dealer) you're in fact warrantying that the gear works. So, if you value your reputation, there's some risk there.
If it is a CF 40mm Distagon then that alone is worth the price;take it.Greetings,
I take my negatives to a local printing lab for scanning. They don't get any film shooters (besides people with family pictures). Today I was chatting with the owner and he was telling me how he can't get rid of his old kit which consists of:
-a 501c with 3 lenses (80,150,40)
-three A12 and one polaroid film back
-waist-level and prism finder
-all nicely packaged in a big Pelican Case.
I (being a nice guy) told him he could CLA it and sell it for 1000+ online. He didn' seem to believe me and offered it all to me for $500.
Cosmetically everything is perfect but one lens had some fungus as did the bottom part of the camera around the tripod mount.
Would you buy this kit? Do you think a CLA will do the trick?
