I have spent 6 years away from photography. While doing some cleaning tonight I came across two boxes of J&C 8x10 (one of 200 and one of 400) in a drawer. It's been in there for at least 6 years. Do you guys think that it's worth a try. Or do you think I'm going to spend hours loading, exposing and developing with no return.

Thanks for any thoughts,

Mike

It should be fine. There may be some fogging, but it's definitely worth testing. Six years is not really that long.

Take a couple of shots and see if the fog interferes with your shadow values. If so, just overexpose the film a bit; 2/3 stop usually does it for me.

Best,

Doremus
