We had about 30 minutes of nice sun before the clouds moved-in and it poured buckets for the rest of the day.
Managed to get 4 photos on paper... not exactly the best.
Two with the PINH5AD 3D printed camera, one with a 35mm can and one with my little red book camera...
I have the negatives on my desk but still need to scan them.

I went out and made 4 paper negatives that I still need to develop.

Instant film on the way there:

And I kind of like this oak tree... might use it depending on how the big paper negatives come out...

Alrighty ... A loose summary of the event is now up in my PBase galleries and the submitted choice is on the WPPD site -- yay!

I'll put one here for chuckles:

Nice image, and I love the fact that you show the edges of the film. How are you scanning in the sheet film negatives? I'm using a Mask on my v600 and stitching 2 images together in Lightroom, which seems better than photographing the negative on a light table with my digital camera.

I guess I should have shared this image for WPPD 2023 - everyone seems to like it the best on my Socials . Minion, found on a back street in Dayton, Ohio. Ondu 6x6.

Thanks!
I have occasionally used a 24 Mpixel mirrorless (Canon EOS M5), but this year I contact printed the negatives on 8x10 Ilford Multigrade RC and then just scanned the prints on a flatbed (Canon MG6300).

On the occasions I've put some in exhibitions I've created a multi-layered frame on a sheet of mat board that locates an 11" wide piece of paper (usually an 11x14 trimmed to 11x10 plus some test strips). A next layer centers the 8x10 negative over it. Lay a sheet of glass over that stack and use the enlarger as a light source, controlled by it's usual timer. That way I can mat and frame them with the full rebate showing without having to attach them to a backing board.

Example from 2015 in a 14 x 15 inch frame:

Here's the one I chose in the end.
Quite fitting when you consider for how short we actually had some sun on that day.

Here's my submission for WPPD, I botched all of my exposures using my home built camera but had brought my RealitySoSubtle 617 as a backup.
Nice! That composition really takes advantage of the 6x17. Too bad about the others, but that may relate to why I always view pinholery as inexact science! 😎

Thanks, I do plan on getting out this weekend with the 5 1/2” x 14” home built this weekend and doing some exposure tests with my RC paper. I also just picked up some expired 11x14 HP5 so I have that to play with.

Here’s the rest of the roll from WPPD, the first two are the same setup, using the upper pinhole for the first one and the lower pinhole for the second one, then the pillar caught my eye, so I swung the camera to the right.
