After a few digressions to deal with unrelated 'stuff' I just uploaded my selection for 2024, and also added a 2024 sub-gallery to my PBase Pinholery. The weather was great and I managed to get out-and-about a little.
Mertztown Station (found and photo'd it last year with a C-3 for Argus Day, so took the big guns over there this year):
This negative was a bit on the bulletproof side, but hey, got something!
In Kutztown an 1870s station is preserved by a modest tourist line operation, the Allentown & Auburn.
While a little less graphic and bold, I decided to submit this shot of some rolling stock there that I felt was a fine job -- for not using a lens!!!
So thar we be . . .
I'm sure a bit more tweaking might be in order should I decide to exhibit prints. (These are from scans of fairly hasty contact prints on Ilford MGRC with a pearl finish.)
