? working with 120 specifically delta 100, first time

went to the friendly local photoshop for 120 film
here's how it went

the datasheet mentions edge numbers "It is available in 120 lengths and is
edge numbered 1 to 19."
are there BACK numbers?
can the backing paper be reloaded?? how?
it will be processed in d-76 1:1 for 12 minutes


the camera I will be using is a Kodak Duaflex II (it makes 6x6) with kodet lens focuses at 5ft+ f16 approx 1/30 sec. to shoot t-mas (jul), and outdoor scenes

I do have a 2 stop nd filter available

I can also set the D60 to iso 100 f16 1/30 sec to "preview" the results

I tend to go on a bit this time of nite

experienced 35mm delta 400 user, 120 not yet used

It will have numbers on the backing paper.
That camera is designed for 620 which is the same width as 120, but uses a different spool. The 120 spool may not fit.
There are several threads here and on the net about respooling 120 for use in 620 cameras.

The backing paper could get reused, but there is no easy source for the film to put on it.

It's really only 828, 127, and 116/616 backing papers that get reused, as there are long rolls of 35mm, 46mm, and 70mm non-perforated Portra films available. There's no long rolls of non-perforated film in the 120/620 width (about 62mm).

The Ilford numbers are there on the paper, but they are pale gray on a white background. Look very carefully through the red window to see them.

I have a Duaflex II and I just shave the spool ends until it fits. If you have a 620 spool to compare it to you will see how much to take off. If you look clsely at the lower lens, you will see focusing from 3.5ft. to 15ft. then infinity. You also have three stops of exposure with f/8, 11, and 16. There is also prompts that tell which f-stop to use for a given setting. Mine has a Kodar 72mm f/8-could it be you have a Duaflex IV? Anyway, they take awesome photos. BTW, does yours have multi-exposure capability?
