I have 4 wooden double plate holders in varying degrees of intactness. There is a set of 3, with ?ivory numbering 1-6, and another with 4 and [missing]. Some of these could have been my great-grandfather's, originating in Edinburgh, but I'm not entirely sure.

One is in good condition, the others less so, with some of the joints coming apart and hinges sticking. Looks like a relatively straightforward restoration job.

I would be happy for these to go to an enthusiastic new home in return for a small contribution towards my son's nursery fees (plus p&p).

They're in Sheffield just now and weigh a shade over 1kg in total.
