Here's some interesting trivia: how the Raptar, Colortar and Micronar got their names...

Colortar? Micronar? Are you sure these are Wolly trade names?
Micronar is an MPP trade name used on lenses fitted to the Microflex. Colortar seems to be a Pathe trade name, was used on lenses fitted to the Pathescope Prince, a 9,5 mm cine camera.
Second and third place = unused losers.The magazine is from 1946 and that is a scan of the ad in the magazine. What else can I say?
