They are Cine lenses for a camera that is capable of 10,000 frames per second. The cameras and lenses are nearly worthless now because of obsolescence.

I see there is little organized info on the Fastax on the net.

I wonder what size film these are for.
A 35 mm version would be a great little item to have.

Either way what they are selling is worth a couple of hundred buck on the best day, still would make an interesting item to have.

Not worth a lot monetarily, but incredibly valuable to anyone who wants a UHS camera but doesn't have $5k to drop on one.
There's a complete Fastax sans lenses on the auction site at the mo.

I have a set exactly like that and the matching 16mm HS unit -- worth about $5 on today's market, sad to say. The only thing I don't have is the Goose timing unit, which you must have if you want to have a ghost's chance in Hell of catching anything in the few seconds the camera runs on 400 feet of film.

Remember, you have to shoot long-pitch film in these cameras, .3000" from perf to perf rather than the traditional .2994" pitch used in camera original -- that rules out negative films or contact printing the film that runs through the camera; you have to optically print the film.

I was just thinking the same thing.

(about me,... I know about this stuff.)
