You're a moderator. Don't you have access to the "Master Delete" button? I thought that if a moderator deleted a thread it would automatically be merged into the deleted thread.

I'm not sure... That was many many many years ago, not long after wheels were invented... and long before the days of 'scratch and sniff'

You may be mixing metaphors. Deleting deleteds has been demonstrated. Undeleting deleteds has been demonstrated. Withdrawing, though, is treading on new territory. Please test withrawing deleteds and undeleteds... report the results to the group.
