Technika IV Type lens boards for sale. I have a total of 11 Technika IV type lens boards for sale most of which are in 9 or 9+ condition. Boards made by Linhof are those stamped Technika and have the Linhof Crest. Below is the breakdown of the boards:
2 black Linhof (Linhof Crest) in # 0 shutter size Both Boards are Sold
2 black Toyo View in Linhof IV size (no Linhof Crest) in # 0 shutter size Both Still Available
3 black Linhof (Linhof Crest) in #1 shutter size All 3 Boards are Sold
1 tan Linhof (came with Linhof Super Technika 4, Linhof Crest) in #1 shutter size Still Available
1 black Linhof (Linhof Crest) in #3 shutter size Sold
1 Linhof Recessed board (Linhof Crest) with nipple and wire release #0 shutter size Sold
1 generic 13mm recessed board with wire release #0 shutter size Sold
Most of the white markd on the Black boards is dust and white material and not damage. The Tan Linhof board is painted and there are some marks in the board.
The Linhof recessed board in #0 shutter comes with the little wire and the little nipple at the lower left (they are gaffer taped to the board; DO NOT LOSE THESE). Additionally, on the front of the lens board, you will see the red sliding button/release lock for the cable release. The little nipple on the bottom left screws into the end of your cable release. The cable release then drops into the opening in the tube above the red sliding release. The red release will release the cable from being captive when the cable release is used and inside of the tube. The wire to the lower left slides into the bottom of the orifice in the tube at the bottom (cone shaped) are below the red slide. The larger end of the wire is what slides into the cone shaped orifice. The thinner part of the wire runs through the shutter cable release socket. When you press the cable release it will push the wire down and release the shutter providing it is cocked. YOU MAY WISH TO USE A SPECIFIC CABLE RELEASE TO SCREW THE CABLE ON. This is the original wire and nipple and I have had them for over 30? years. I am not sure how easy these would be to be replaced.
As an additional considerationfor the Linhof recessed board, if you plan to use a flash or strobes with the lens mounted in the recessed board, consider using an angled (prerably right angle socket) and install it in the lens PC socket before mounting the lens in the recessed board. Also, just be careful if you do decide that you want this lens board it is tight quarters to get your locking wrench in the back of the board. You do not want to damage the shutter.
The 13mm deep generic board in #0 shutter comes with the little wire. The shorter end of the wire slides into the bottom of the orifice in the tube at the bottom (cone shaped). The longer and angled part of the wire runs through the shutter cable release socket. For this board, the cable release screws into the top of the cone shaped part of the board When you press the cable release it will push the wire down and release the shutter providing it is cocked. Like the Linhof recessed board, if you plan to use a flash or strobes, consider using an angled (prerably right angle socket)and install it in the lens PC socket before mounting the lens in the recessed board.
The lens and the cable release seen in any photo is not included with the lens boards.
The white on the rear of the Generic Recessed board is dust and not damage.
