I have 5 each Leica FILCA 35mm Vintage Brass Reloadable Film Cartridges for sale - $70 USD, shipped standard mail within the Continental USA via USPS.

Cartridges are complete, but they should be cleaned and the foam doughnut seal should be replaced on each one before attempting to use.

One of the cartridges has a weak leaf spring (see photo) that should be reformed or bent to make it more positive in action, but I'll leave that to the buyer to do. (Photo with red arrow)

I have had these in the anticipation of finding that beater Leica, but alas, it doesn't seem to be coming my way, so I need to get them out for someone to use.

These cartridges are subject to sale on another site, so first come - first served.

I have been using Leitz cassettes for years, and I am unaware of any seal, doughnut or otherwise, anywhere. Could I have overlooked it for all these years? Never saw any foam in Zeiss cassettes either.

I took one out to show you; it's more of a felt-like material.

that felt ring is at the top, under the chrome/black knob -- I suspect it doesn't need to be replaced, it's not foam, it's felt and as long as it's not got any tears or holes it should perform its function just fine. I use these a lot and have never had any issues, and mine are pretty old, some are black knob (screw mount).

These appear to be ancient and only a few of them have the felt ring installed. However, they do seem to be functional. Gotta respect how they have survived!

Price dropped to $55 shipped CONUS.

I got two of these cassettes and I did not find a felt disc

Having had no experience with these cartridges, I have to guess that someone either added the felt to the cartridge, or it was a feature added to or deleted from cassette production during the production run.

In any event, some have them and some don't...
