Will this Focusing Back work on My Linhof Technika III?

Hi Folks!

Random question. I have a Linhof Super Technika III with a graflok style back. Will this focusing back (just the center portion) work with that? The seller didn't know.

The only other back I can find right now that I'm pretty sure would work is this one from india (with missing ground glass).

Thanks for the help. My camera currently has a modified back that someone added a giant and bulky magnifier system to. I end up never grabbing it because of that (and it's so large it makes the rangefinder useless.

Ask the seller to measure mount hole center to mount hole center top and bottom and the outside dimensions of the back, if they match yours it will fit.
The ebay listing you ask about is a Spring back, probably from a II.

I did ask for measurements, but got no response in return. I'd drop it and move along, but I can't find another for sale in the US.

In the link you provided, it says 6.25" x 6.25" "from the inside black plate."

That's the size of the entire back, which is part of a Technika (someone else suggested maybe a two). I needed the measurements for the focusing hood and screen portion which is removable. It's a moot point now. I bought the one from India. Guy had good communication and came down substantially on the price for me.

Glad you found what you needed. I wasn't sure if he added to the listing, after you asked, but hadn't messaged you, directly...that has happened to me. Anyway, just trying to help.

I appreciate it! It's been tough finding that back portion for my linhof. I wish the original owner hadn't modified the one I have.
