In case you didn't understand my question, does the C44 have a standard size accessory shoe.

I believe the Fed 3 does.

Without knowing that Argus finder, but basically, exchanging a foot should not be a problem for a tinkerer.

I have an Argus finder and it fits the shoe on my Kiev 4. AFAIK, accessory shoes were standardized before the Argus C family had them. I've got 1930s vintage cameras that have them and modern accessories fit every one, aside from some occasional looseness due to tolerances.

Update: I found one last night for a good price. I just hope that it doesn't make my camera noticeably heavier.
