Why so few images posted from both Irelands and Scotland?

I just finished a three week trip taking in the Independent Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Certainly not enough time!

The photographic opportunities are mind boggling which lead me to wonder why do we see so few photographs from Photrio members who live in these locations.

I realize Photrio is a very US centric site but there are members from the above locations here.

Come on share your images!

I suspect that you are used to your landscapes and we to ours. And we're a bit less shouty.

But I will say this, though: I'm glad that you had a good time, as you imply.

We like to keep it to ourselves !!! 🤓

Joking aside, I am glad you enjoyed your visit and maybe you could share some of your images. It would be nice to see what we see and take for granted every day, through a new set of visitor's eyes.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head with

Where are you going in Scotland? I spent a week in Glasgow for work back in 2019 and took a bunch of pictures during my free weekend before going to Birmingham, but they're all digital.

I've visited in Ireland in 2010 and 2012 and in Scotland in 2003. Indeed I've taken many a picture of my outings there, but most are pretty touristy.

Both make marvelous whiskeys. No need to engage in frivolous endeavors.

There are in fact very few members from these locations and those that there are may not be of the mind to want to post in the gallery. In fact when you consider how many members we have who are not located in those 3 locations we probably have very few members in total in terms of a percentage of the membership who do post pictures. If you then look at how few there are who might post pics out of the 3 locations then you might have a number in low single figures

Trust me. Us Canadians are less shouty than you. Sorry.

Back on topic... I've photograph quite a bit in Scotland. It's pretty much sensory overload whenever I go. When it comes to photography, they've got it all. I'm sure the Ireland's are the same. Will get there one day...Got a big UK trip planned after retirement next year with sister.

I took one three week trip to Ireland a few years ago, I have been to Scotland for even longer but there are other places left for me to visit. PLUS for reasons that I have many times before, I do not post my photographs on the internet any longer except to demonstrate a problem or something to sell.

I have quite a few good ones on slides from Scotland , the upper NW coast and Skye, but haven't gone to the trouble of scanning/copying any of these yet.
I can however offer a fair few (digital) from N.Wales as a substitute !

Maybe the Scots are all out playing golf, and the two Irelands' guys are out at on of the more than 7000 pubs...so not enough time to shoot.

I'm fortunate enough to live in the far North-West of Scotland, but have no desire to post any images on the Internet.

I live on the Fife coast, however the majority of my images are taken in Edinburgh.
