I tried those Thingify PinHole Pro pinhole "lenses" on my Fujifilm X-series APS-C cameras. I was underwhelmed by the first model -- with the little turret of pinholes (which was pretty sloppy) -- but kept it around. I then got the S11 (11mm focal length) and it was a little better. (I tossed the first one in the trash -- not worth the effort to eBay it.)
When I finally settled on the Zero Image 69D for a film pinhole, I figured that it was time to break out the Zeiss Star Target. And even though it is a Zeiss target, I'm NOT expecting Zeiss Lens resolution...But the targets are nice for a subjective qualitative approach.
Actually, it was kinda fun, but I should have shot earlier in the evening (5 minute exposure for the Zero Image). Both cameras had almost the same FOV when I set up the camera as close to the porch rail as possible. And it's interesting to look at how each camera setup handles the background in the test perimeters as well as the main target.
Bottom line is that film is going to do just fine for me. The Pinhole Pro lenses, on the other hand, seem more like one-trick ponies.
(And after almost four decades since I last developed 120 B&W, the battle rhythm is still there.)
