I've got an SX-70 that I had refurbished around 2013 I think by someone with the eBay name FastCat I think. He did a good job and it worked for a while. But I think it's time for a CLA on the thing. It still shoots, and spits out film but it's a bit like a rusty classic car that needs some detailing.

Anyone know who's doing these now?

Would recommend Retrospekt, Brooklyn film camera, or Doc Jemz (search on Facebook) if you’re in the USA.

Sorry for the late reply. I can't say anything against Nicholas's final two recommendations (and in fact, I've heard very good things about Brooklyn Film Camera), but I was wowed by my service from Retrospekt. I sent them a damaged 680SLR I found at a pawn shop, and they repaired it quite reasonably and in just a couple of weeks. And they sent it back, along with a detailed list of what all they did to it, inside a very attractive custom box (with padding fit specifically to my camera) with a magnetic snap closure and some cool stickers. I will definitely use them again, they are top notch!

Retrospekt is definitely king in the USA. They aren’t cheap but you get what you pay for. I’ve been very satisfied with Retrospekt.
