I have a Speed Graphic I bought and the focal plane shutter is slow and some speeds such as 1/60 don't work. Can anyone recommend someone to repair it? I tried SK Grimes with no luck. Thanks.

Hmm. Didn't see Speed Graphic listed but I did see he is an independent Leica repair person who is quite a bit closer than some of the others I have used in the past.

Look at the picture. Interesting that you'd be contradicting folks when you have nothing more to offer.

He is also factory trained Hasselblad guy.

Good luck Mr B. A working focal plane shutter is a very useful thing. Makes barrel lens use a breeze!

I was not intending to contradict you. I do apologize if that was how you felt.

Nah, its not an issue.

Besides, now I know where to send one of my Speeds or Crowns if they ever need any attention that I can't give.

Frank Rubio, aka the Camera Doctor, did a superb job overhauling my 1949 Speed Graphic. He's in Manhattan and can be contacted at: (917) 916–3396 or email cameraMDfr@gmail.com
Good luck, Paul
