Which watercolors for spotting?

Can anyone suggest what color and brand watercolors to start off with for spotting palladium and cyanotype prints?

Winsor and Newton ivory black and burnt umber will match about any tone palladium can have.

Thanks, Clay, I figured I would post here as I've been filling up your inbox lately

I went ahead and ordered a burnt umber and an ivory black with my magic brush (and a hake for the cyanotypes). I'll wait until I print some cyanotypes, see the results, and bring them with me to the art store.

Hope this isn't a silly question...but should I use Gum Arabic when spotting PT/PD? Or is it just the pigment(s)?
