Hi,

I bought MD 50/1.4 lens. It does not have "Rokkor" tag on the front, has filter radius number and wider focusing ring. Lens is in mint condition, but it is rather rare on ebay. Most of them are either Rokkor MD, or Rokkor-X for US market, or older MCs....

A pic might help. It is not the later AF lens, is it? Only one I can think of with just those markings.

The Rokkor MD 50/1.4 lens is a wonderful lens. I used it for decades.

Not sure what you're asking. Minolta dropped the Rokkor name on the very last production runs of its manual-focus lens series - the Rokkor name was removed from the lenses and they were referred to simply as Minolta MD. More here:

ok - it seems correct - that is latest series reffered as MD-III. any differences between older Rokkors? I bought really mint one for 60€ while ten minutes later the older one - MD-Rokkor - was sold for 20€ more. the condition was rather similar.
