I have one of these, though I've not yet mounted it to a lens board. It works fine. I made sure to purchase one before the supply ran out.
And that's my plan, to mount it inside the deep recess of an Arca Swiss recessed 171mm lensboard. It's easy enough to pick a camera with a lensboard at least the size of the Mamiya lens adapter, cut a hole of the appropriate size in that lensboard, and then, mount the Mamiya adapter to the larger lensboard using a bolt and nut at each corner. (Size 6 nut and bolt?)
I figure that the lens will balance better with the adapter mounted inside a recessed lensboard. In that way, the rear of the lens will extend at least some distance behind the standard to offset the lens weight at the front.
If I recall, after cocking the RB67 shutter using the lever, one can trigger the shutter using a shutter release cable. One has to get the settings just right on the lens for this to occur.
What's amazing, is that some of the longer RB67 lenses will cover 4x5! Somewhere on the Mamiya website, one can find image circles for RB67 lenses. That said, I will probably use this with a digital back.
