Does anyone know of a place to get rubylith locally in the Northern Virginia area? Or a website that that sells it and has cheap shipping? The only place I have seen online with it is an astronomy/telescope site, and they charge atleast 10 bucks for shipping. For a small roll of it costing 10 bucks, ugh. I'm kind of surprised adorama or freestyle don't carry it, unless there is some generic brand I should be looking for?

Thanks.

Can you find some place which sells it for making photographic masks to fabricate Printed Circuit boards?

[edit: I just Googled 'mask Rubylith supply' and found lots of hits!]

A quick check of those results only shows huge rolls of the stuff for a few hundred bucks

I have a roll of rubylith, pretty old stuff. How much are you needing?

I only need a little bit, to cover my red LED safelight. I have two, an 8 inch square would be fine for each, but I think one will be enough. I haven't got everything setup yet.

Yeah the problem is all the art supply stores I know of around here are generic craft stores like Michaels, or places that specialize in scrapbooking.
