Where is the best place to send my Nikon FE for complete overhaul and repair?

my fe looks mint but it has two problems. 1. you wind it and you can wind it again and again without firing it. and 2. the shutter stays open and mirror up on any speed over 2 seconds. this also means i don't get the metered super long exposure capability of the nikon FE.
look and search for authorized Nikon repair shops in your area. they are in all major cities.
have you ever heard of this before, what is causing this, can it be repaired to function as new and where is the best repairman to send it to?

Were you able to get your FE repaired? If so, who'd you use, and how do you like their work?

No. The only one that I found was Deans and he wanted $300. I believe he could have done it but I thought I would wait and watch marketplace for a nice original owner. I shipped it out there and he looked at it ( i paid 30 or 50 bucks plus shipping) and I declined. I also sent him my FM which I had him overhaul and it appears to be perfect now although I havent tried it yet. He also advised that the clicks cannot be removed on the FM shutter.
