Just got back from walmart where I bought 3 roll pack of Fuji Superia 400 for $20. I havent bought film in a while and I was shocked at the high price! Where is the best place these days to get equal or better film than the Fuji Superia?

Mail order places like B&H tend to be competitive. Freestyle is another one to check, although their shipping rates to Canada tend to be high. I believe their US rates are better.
B&H, Freestyle, and Adorama is where I usually get film. I usually only buy when I need several things from them to get the free shipping and store the film in my freezer.

Ive got plenty of black and white chemicals so Im all set there. Ive done C41 also, but the blix kits are getting more expensive. Still its not that bad cost wise per roll if you do it yourself, plus you get the fun of pulling the film out of the soup and seeing your images. Ill never get tired of that magic feeling. Its worth the mess and the fuss to me. I have never printed color though, I have to draw the line somewhere. Jim I think Ill use your shopping strategy though and order the film and the blix kit together to get free shipping.Thanks for reminding me.
Not sure what blix kit is, but BH doesn't sell c-41 developing kits for shipping anymore.
Samy's now has the best prices, for me, on all 120 film. 35mm is pretty good too. Otherwise all the other places mentioned above, B&H, adorama and freestyle.
I depends where in the world you are, I guess. Not everyone lives in the USA...

Frustrating, for me - B&H is one of the very few places in the USA selling the Foma home processing reversal kit - so I was disappointed to see they won't ship that, either.
Edit: Actually, I just checked the B&H website, and it doesn't say they won't ship it, only: "This item is not available for purchase online. Please call us at 877.588.7698, or visit our NY Superstore."
Freestyle is presently "out of stock" but when they have the Foma kit they will ship it, with the following limitations:
"NOTE: This item is classified as ORM-D. Due to shipping regulations these items can only be shipped via Ground in the Continental United States. ORM-D items cannot be shipped to PO boxes. ORM-D items are non-returnable."

... so it seems everyone is saying c41 kits cant be ordered through the mail anymore? Why would that be? When I say blix kit I mean the Joba c41 kits, they were called press kits. I havent got one in some time now. Too long. Im so out of the loop.

If you need B&W film, you can't beat ULTRAFINE XTREME online. Good film, stable and dependable.
I support the locals as much as possible, but film is where I draw the line. For the best selection, and prices, it's either B&H or Adorama for me (I have yet to give Freestyle a shot). I buy my 35mm Tri-X , HP5+, TMax3200, and Delta 3200 by the (in multiples) brick. As well, I purchase PanF+ 120 and FP4+ 120 by the brick, and Tri-X by (multiple) propack. Obviously, my orders are always over the $99 minimum, so the shipping is "free." It's generally a 5-7 business day trip here to the Left Coast.
Most film is $4-6 per roll, plus tax and shipping if applicable.

When I'm visiting the USA or have people visiting the USA, I often order some film from B&H to be delivered to whoever is holidaying over there. Their price for Kodak Ultramax 400 is usually a bargain.

Otherwise, in the UK I use Silverprint, First Call and occasionally 7dayshop...with occasional purchases from Sharif Photographic and Nik & Trick for Adox fixer.

The Film Photography Project sells c41 home processing kits. About 20.00/1liter kit plus shipping. I just received an order last week, so they were still mailing them as of then at least. They have a 2 liter kit too, but I haven't used it.
They have lots of stuff for film enthusiasts and an interesting podcast.

Sharif and Nik & Trick - Brilliant
First Call, RK Photo, SpeedGraphic and Silverprint - Also great and have some really good prices on certain items
7dayshop and B&H have longer delivery times, and for the UK there is the whole import tax thing for B&H. However it does work out cheaper if you buy without them paying tax and let the Royal Nail attempt to fleece you once it arrives.
One of my local camera stores will match B&H prices, or try to come close, on film they have in stock. I just take a screenshot from the website. For B&W, Ilford offers considerable saving via 100 ft rolls.
I definitely buy almost all my B&W in 100 foot rolls....I forgot one more....Process Supplies near Farringdon in London. They do mail order and have a great "brick and mortar" shop on the street.....rumour has it that if you pay in actual cash at the store, they don't charge you VAT....
Oh and another UK source is Imaging Warehouse near Stratford upon Avon. They do mail order and have premises in an industrial estate. They're happy for customers to visit though you do need to ring a bell at the door. Huge selection of film, chemicals, paper and darkroom equipment at very competitive prices. I visited just once a couple of years ago when I happened to be in the area. Thoroughly recommended.
