This is very scary. Does anyone know if they are still there? Is Efke still making film, is jandc still going strong?

jandc said:The situation is that we underestimated the huge increase in demand for this film over the last few months. Efke is in the process of making more film. We secured a small supply of remaining 4x5 from our European distributor and it's been shipped to us and will be available hopefully next week some time.
Sorry for the delays. We have ordered increased amounts this time around amounting to what we think is a years supply.
Thanks

I did not see anyone call you an idiot, but I did see someone make a suggestion..
It is really pretty easy to get answers to questions around this place

Thanks for the update.
I am sure you are more upset than I am about this. However, it would be nice if there was some advance notice on your site of availability issues.
It also sounds a little strange that you have to order a year's supply. It would seem that it would offer an opportunity for more error to have a process that happens once a year vs once a month. I don't know anything about film manufacturing but it seems less than perfect. Does this concern you?

The same is true for PL100 8x10. This has shipped from efke and is in transit.

I guess I will have to find another film to use.
