Forgive my ignorance in these matters, but what happened to Fuji instant 4X5 black and white film? I know I've been spending to much time in the darkroom lately, but I don't seem to recall any word about this film not being available anymore. It was a bit expensive at around 3 bucks a sheet, but the color stuff is still listed on Freestyle and other sites, but where can I find a thread on the discontinued black and white?

I think the 3000 speed black and white pack film is still available. I would have preferred that they had kept the slower one instead.

The only Fuji instant film available in 4x5 is the color film. The B&W was discontinued some time ago; however I do believe slower, FP-100B is still available in the smaller format along with FP-3000B.

The moral is, buy and use lots of film you like or it will go away. I've heard the FP100B is discontinued altogether but it still seems to be in stock at least for the smaller 3.25x4.25" size my Mamiya RB67's NPC Land Polaroid back uses. B&H has some in stock at good prices anyways.

I do use the FP100B with a film holder that fits my 4X5, loaned to me by a very good friend, and it's great for checking exposure. It's still a shame that we can't get some black and white in 4X5's. If the cost wasn't so high, I would have stocked up.

Yeah, the 4x5 is a lot more. I'm not sure why as the picture isn't really that much bigger is it? It is only 1.5x the image area yet it is more than double the price.
