And now a Rollei Prego 130WA. I blame the fact that it was only $30 at KEH.

I just received a Kiev 4AM with a 35mm lens. Looking forward to trying some landscape work with it this weekend.

A Zenit S in the mail from the Ukraine. It has new curtains and a cla. I have bought from this seller before and expect the camera to be a good user. J

A black Nikkormat FT3, purchased in a fit of GAS, brought about by a Nikkormat thread (started by Ezzie) over at RFF.

Nikkormats seem to be cheap, the lenses on the other hand...

I have a black FTn and a pre-AI 35mm f2.8 which needed some fungus removal. Handed the test roll in yesterday so will find out how it did on Tuesday.

Today's test subject was a Canon FX with FL 50mm f1.8 (and original hood). Had spent all its life in the case, so the chrome is pretty much immaculate. The foam has damaged the silvering on the prism but it's not so bad as to make it unusable, so I gave the mechanism a few dribbles of PTFE and exercised it until it stopped capping at 1/1000 then put a roll of Poundland's finest in. Also have an FTb with a breechlock FD 50/1.4 which has had one test roll, a little bit of work to (hopefully) deal with uneven shutter curtain travel at the higher speeds, and will be getting another test after the FX.

Not a camera but a beautiful Nikkor-S 35mm F:2.8 (Non Ai) showed up today, debating on having it Ai converted.

Two came on the same day. One is a Topcon RE Super with the standard prism finder and a case. The other is a Miranda Sensorex II which came with no finder but with a 50/1.8 lens.

From a yard sale last summer:

A Canon AE1 Program "The Official Camera of the 1984 Olympic Games," according to one of the lens caps, including Canon 35-70 and 50 mm lenses, a Vivitar 70-210 and an off brand 135 and 28, plus a bunch of 52 mm filters, case and other accessories. Everything works and was well cared for, and even though I've never owned a Canon, I couldn't let is pass by for $10.
I'll keep it until I run into a young whippersnapper who wants to get into film, and it will be my present.
The Canon New F1 was the official camera of the 1984 L.A Olympic games the lens cap is off one of these http://mir.com.my/rb/photography/hardwares/classics/canonf1n/LA-Olympic1984/index.htm

A beautiful Mamiya 6 with 75mm and 50mm lenses. Gonna go shoot with it soon!

Not so sure about that, I've seen at least one other AE1 Program with that cap.

I get the impression that Canon sold it with their standard lenses during the Olympic year (they also sold a 1980 Winter Olympics one), as you bought the body and lens in separate boxes you'd end up with an Olympic cap regardless of which body you bought.

In fact this advert implies that "Official 35mm Camera of the 1984 Games" was a sponsorship deal which applied to all of their products. I think there was a very spangly red white and blue compact sold at the time as well as the SLRs?

Against all good common sense, I ordered a Nikon 35Ti from Japan. Like I need another P&S. I couldn't help it; it was those lovely steam gauges on the top that hypnotized me. :surprised:

I know what you mean . . .

Aperture priority and a great lens arsenic too!

A Zenit E at the flea market with Industar 50mm, 15 bucks. The meter is inop, but I just finished a roll and all negatives are exposed properly at all shutter speeds. I'm still waiting for a Zenit S from the Ukraine though. J.

Which mount/adapter are you using for the Biometar lens?

A 1938/39 Zeiss Ikon Contax II with 1937 Zeiss 50mm F/2 Sonnar collapsable lens. Just sent off my first roll for processing - can't wait to get it back!

Zenobia 4.5x6 that works very nicely indeed but I didn't like the format so I think I'll sell it...

Just picked up....wait for it.....
A Bell & Howell (plastic fantastic) 35mm camera. Twenty eight millimeter lens, looks to be f11, and one shutter speed, I'd guess about 1/100, be still my beating heart. There is a bar of scrap steel (confirmed by magnet) in the bottom to give it more weight so I know it is a quality camera. Guess I'll load a short length of bulk B&W and try it out.

From the late 50's to early 60's, a Russian Start SLR Camera. I picked it up because of the unusual shutter release button you see protruding from the side of the lens. It will be interesting to see how it handles

I have 2 Zenobia's and think they take gorgeous pictures. Focusing is surprisingly easy for not having a rangefinder. I like the 4.5x6 format mainly because I'm cheap and enjoy getting the extra frames from a roll of 120 (6X9 format cameras are done way too soon for me). I also love how small the camera is. It fits nicely in the back pocket of my jeans.

Zenit C (s) just arrived in the mail this morning from the Ukraine. Shutter speeds work, aperture moves freely, film advances and rewinds, glass is clean. Already shot a roll of Polypan F, all good exposures. The only thing off is I can't get the flash to work, but that might be operator error. The serial number starts with 58, I suppose that is the build year, very nice condition for 57 years old. J.

Not very old but I picked up an Olympus LT Zoom 105 with the burgandy leather covering and it is really sweet right now.
It's very strange, however, shooting a camera again where the only thing I get to do is frame and push a button.
It is pretty, though.
