Hoping third time is a charm when it comes time to releasing a boomerang camera. Sold off my F4 that I've owned off and on since 2007. Wasn't very impressed with the condition the camera was in when I bought it back from a friend of mine, so I was more willing to let it go, along with a Nikkormat FT3 and a couple marginal lenses in trade for a fairly decent 85/1.8.

Anyway, I do have a chrome FM2n on the way from someone in Port Angeles, WA. Should be here later this week. After I get done with a Volvo car swap meet in Portland, I'll consider replacing the F4 that I sold with a nicer late model version. Would be cool to own one in the 26xxxxx serial range. Also plan to pick up an overhauled F that I dropped off a week or so ago.

I need both fuel pumps for my '90 245DL. And the filler trim that goes above the bumper.

I've been on a bit of a spree the past few days, picking up a Nikon F body with the Photomic T prism and a Kodak Retina Ia Type 015. Still debating which I want to take for a spin first, though part of me would like to get a pocket rangefinder for the little Retina before I take it into the world.

^In which case, load the F up, pop your favorite Nikkor on, and take it out

I'll be honest, that was the plan that was winning in my mind for this weekend...

I picked up an OM-1MD with a 50mm Macro 3.5 and 75mm-150mm F4 yesterday.

I picked up the kit just for the 50mm macro, which has been on my wish list for a while now.

The OM-1 isn't working  The winder doesn't seem to be making contact inside. There is minimal resistance to turning it, and the shutter won't cock. I've got a small fleet of OM bodies (2S, 10, 40), so I don't *really* need the 1, but it sure feels nice in the hand (lighter than the 2S), so I was really hoping it would be fully functional.

I have a similar problem with the advance on an Agfaflex I acquired recently. Whatever contact it needs to make to cock the shutter, it's not doing it...which is too bad because the rest of it works and is in great shape.

Matt:
Be sure to check the rewind switch - if it is stuck in the engaged position, I think your camera will perform in the way described.
That can be a simple fix.

I just picked up a very clean Nikkormat FT2 in black. The meter is stable and off by about one stop that can be easily adjusted with the film speed. Also got a very nice 135mm f: 2.8 Ai lens both off the bay. The guy who sold the lens did not know what he had and was raving about the great image quality he was getting with his digital camera...probably never shot a roll of film in his life ;-). I paid $79 for each including shipping.

Received yesterday my 10th Nikon EM (yeah, I like them!):

What's not to like about it?

They should rotate to wind on automatically but if you can turn manually without using force try it.

Down load user manual as well.

Last Sunday was our local gear swap meet. I went not intending to buy anything more then some enlarging contrast filters.

Instead I came home with a very nice Minolta X-700, Motor Drive, 135 F2.8 MC Rokkor and some generic branded 35-70 Zoom. Apart from the camera needing new light seals, it looks like a sweet setup. I'm Happy indeed!

Oh, yeah, I did get the filters as well....

I just picked up a clean Minolta SRT102 with late model 50mm f1.4 MC Rokkor-PG and 28mm f2.5 MC Rookor SI.
Liberated from a thrift store. I had to buy it so no one else would =]
-Though honestly, I've never been into minolta. So it may be off to the auction block soon.

Just managed to grab a beautiful little Contax S2b and a lovely old Contax Preview. I can't wait to bung in some film, grab a couple of Planars and check the shutters....

I like the SRT cameras - basic and rugged. I'd keep if I were you. That 1.4 Rokkor will make a fine B&W lens. The only downside is that you'll have to use a Wiencell battery for the meter.

Last week I bought a Petri 7S which needs shutter work. It's in perfect shape and has the original lens cap and case. I bought it for $10.

The mailman brought a new Voightlander Avus to me today! Very excited! Seems to be in very good condition, but needs quite a bit of cleaning. Hope to get to play with it soon to really check the light tightness of the bellows.

Got a Nikon Pronea 6 and a Pronea S right here at APUG a few weeks ago. Just starting to shoot with them now. They have a nice feel to them. Seems like well designed bodies and the 6 has tons of features too.

My fourth Bronica SQ-A is on its way. It will be coming with a crank, a battery cover and a focusing screen. I need to stock up on PX-28s.

Black F2 with the unfortunately rare DE-1 prism. Thankfully it didn't cost me a fortune!

A coworker just last week sold me his late uncle's Argus C3 (1948 according to serial). This makes my fifth one of these beasties! I find them adorable and addictive.
