I just picked up a Nikon F3-HP with a Nikkor AI 50mm F=1.4, it has a pretty filthy K screen in it that I'm tring to get used to but is mint otherwise.

Fortunately F3 screens are plentiful in great condition, good price and easy to change!

Been curious about the Ricoh TLS401 since I first learned about it's unique eye & waist level viewfinder. Instead of an interchangeable type, there is a selector on the side of the prism (1) for eye-level and (2) for waist-level position as well as a sliding cover on the top of the prism for the waist-level viewer.

A Polaroid SX-70. I've been lusting after one for a while, partly due to nostalgia from barely-remembered 70s and 80s, but also because I've had an attack of classic camera gas. So I decided to finally get one while film was still available. Yes, Impossible film is expensive and, well, you know, not instant (30-40 minutes to develop? Not great for experimenting). But I'm having fun and it's given me ideas for all sorts of creative projects.

Actually a pretty good camera, IMO. Most were sold with the 35-70 zoom, but there's a straight 50, 1.7 that's nice.

Nice camera! I don't see Walz cameras around much any more. I believe that Walz's parent company also made the Zenobaiflex - a TLR with the craziest name ever for a camera.

One good thing about digital is that I can now afford cameras I never could before. My last purchases over a year ago now, were a Canon F1 and a Leicaflex SL. Nikon is my main 135 system, but these 2 are classic.

We used to have a brilliant camera repair man in Sheffield but he is retired now. Where did you get your F1 serviced please?

I picked up an Olympus OM 2n with 50mm 1.4 lens for 7.99 us, yesterday at a Salvation Army store. It looks rough but it meters right on and everything else works. J

Was looking through the local CL and spotted a low priced ad titled Minolta accessories and curiously looked to find a low res shot of what looked like filters and such but buried in it look like possibly an XK finder - or perhaps I was wishing it was. So I arranged to pick up the box of stuff and was pleasantly surprised to see it was an XK Waist Level finder and a High Magnification finder - both with caps. Both look unused outside and inside! It's a great compliment to the AE and AE-S finders I already have.

Adding new finders makes it a new old camera to me . . .

Thanks Ben for as you know with these types of cameras, sometimes the accessories cost even more than the bodies!
