yeah i know it seems like an open question,
but whats your favorite filter ?

i'm not much for dark reds, or uv or yellows or oranges
but i do like shooting through dirty windows
plastic wrap, and fluids ...

whats your fav ?

CP60M...

Because it removed enough excess green from my old set of Aristo VCL tubes to give my enlarger a full range of contrast settings from 0 through 5 with the simple twist of a dial.

Wratten #11 (Hoya XO), and 80A (because I use hot lamps).

85A on C-41 film in heavy overcast or in forests.

This looks great. I do the same too, since I shoot a lot in canyons. But I think mine is just an 85, with no A. I also use this filter with an 82B, which cools it by about 300K, and requires an added 1/3 stop over the 85 alone. Sometimes if there is a lot of sun streaming into the shot, the 85 alone makes it too warm for my taste.

There's always a medium yellow on my optics, I also use orange here and there.

Number 3 contrast on my enlarger. Oh, and I keep a yellow filter on my OM-1, I only shoot b&w with it.

I compared two shots, both balanced to the same colour, exposure compensated for with the filter, same colour, but more vibrant on the 85A

1) The filter that improves the composition just before the photograph is taken.
2) Polarizer

Cokin #173 Blue/Yellow polarizer with E100GX for gorgeously unreal Windex blue skies at higher latitudes.
