I need a new Richeson 9010 brush for a friend of mine. I have two that I LOVE (love love). Rumour has it that the "new" one is a bit different from the classic one that I have.

What's up with that?

Where is the best place to order one from?

I've heard that the newer ones have a somewhat thicker pad of bristles, but still work well.

I get them from Pearl Paint in New York. The Miniature-series brushes are the best retouching brushes. I like to handle them and pick them out myself. Some just seem to have a pointier point.

I second the Jerry's Artarama price. I did even better. The warehouse is located in Raleigh,NC and they let me drop by and pick up my order. Saved the freight!
I hope to get around to using them in a few weeks.
