What's Robert Adam's technique?

I searched the www and didn't get what I'm interested in knowing...does anyone know what film, dev., printing techniques used by Robert Adams?
I really admire his work and would like to understand his technical approach, too.

One of his books says the photos were made with Nikon 35mm, Hasselblad medium format and a 4x5, but I don't remember the brand or if it was even mentioned. That may have changed over time. A lot of photographers change cameras over the years. They also change films and other materials.

I heard he had been using a Mamiya 7 as well.
