After re-washing, I would say that maybe 40% of the frames are usable.

After re-washing and new photo flo. Better, but must be some residue imbedded on emulsion side. I will re-filter the Xtol, toss the current fixer and clearing agent. Thanks to all for your input.

That looks much better. It is interesting to see that there are now new areas affected with the debris/residue.

Prior to scanning or storage, you may try giving a gentle clean with some isopropyl alcohol applied with cotton balls and then a blast of compressed air.
