I accidentally bought 700 feet of 5” plus-x.

Yup…Ouch. I see a lot of cutting in your future.
Maybe? Seems like Washi had a decent enough time with it at least.Well, should be popular for resale at least.
Yes they did! And a couple other smaller swing lens cameras as well.Did they make a 5" Cirkut camera?

That would make 2100 sheets of 4x5". If you can rig something up that'll shoot those at 24fps, it'll take you less than two minutes to get through it all and you can then go back to doing other things.700 feet of 5” plus-x

Like processing that pile of film.
LOL!
Sorry though, I imagine it probably wasn't very cheap either.
I snagged this old tripod at the thrift store for 5$. One of the internal extension tubes has a light kink, which I should be able to fix, but it doesn't really matter as I'll use this one as a table top tripod. It weighs about 1 lb, is mostly made of brass & aluminum, and measures 25CM when closed. I've no idea where it comes from, as there's no "Made in____" on but I'm assuming it's either German or Japanese, and likely from the 60s.

Does my dad count? Evidently he decided he wanted a new camera and just bought a Nikon Z6 III with a 70-200mm f/2.8 and 85mm f/1.8 from Best Buy today. I knew nothing about this previously.Came out of the dark room and was suddenly bombarded with a whole bunch of photography questions, lol. At least he seems to have done some amount of research, he at least picked good lenses for his stated goal of portraits.

Dude, I don’t even know what half of the stuff on this camera is for! It has all these weird automatic modes that do different things and the lens doesn’t have any focus markers or aperture stuff… I’m so lost!Being a good son, you should show him every single option and complicated way the camera can be used. When he gets frustrated, offer to take it off his hands (for free, of course) because you might be able to make use of it ...
