A framed ~11/x14 print of Edward Curtis' Jicarilla Maiden
1738434433311.png

for $5. Whatever it is, it's on actual photo paper with a snazzy matt.

A vintage 1955 headshot of Phyllis Diller.
It had been signed in ink, but has water damage.
Whichever glamour photographer took the photo...well, he tried. 🧐

I snagged this nice release cable for 3 loonies, at one of my regular thrift stores.

A Nikon 28mm to 400mm zoom AF lens and a 17mm to 28mm zoom AF lens for my Nikon Z7ii.

I bought a 1941 Contax III camera with collapsible Sonnar 50mm f/2 lens because I've been enjoying using my Kiev-4 and Jupiter-8 so much the last 15 years. I also bought a Jupiter-3 50mm f/1.5 for it which will take longer to get here as it's coming from Ukraine. Wish me luck and if any of you have experience with using this equipment I'd love to hear your opinions. I've read up on the history.

When my wife and I announced our engagement, her quite young niece asked her excitedly: "Aunty *****, are you going to be a Queen!?"

"Aunty *****, are you going to be a Queen!?"

It would have been very interesting if she'd changed her last name to Queen after getting married. "Mr. King and Mrs. Queen" have reserved a room at the Motel6.....

Uhm, I hope you've figured out by now that the answer to this is always "Without question."

Finally got a 58mm Rodenstock Grandagon for my Graflex XL collection.
Looking forward to trying it out on some Instax Mini film.
