Finally found my dream camera locally. Absolute the best ever made. Did not come with a lens but considering I got the camera cheap I have a wiggle room.
Downsides?
Tough to use any of my other SLRs.
The 8000 shutter speed makes a big difference.
Everything is in the right place and it feels like I have used the camera forever even though I have never held one before.

Picked up an old Rolleiflex Automat II on marketplace for about $60US. Looks like it has been to hell and back, no seriously it must have fallen from a great height and has a large amount of damage, but the price was right. As per the Rolleiclub info, this puts it as a war time camera (1939-1945) and the back plate exposure guide is in German. 75mm CZJ Tessar 3.5 as expected.

After some tinkering and cleaning, I have been able to get the shutter firing consistently and reasonably on speed, and removed the oil residue on the aperture blades. Repaired the multiple problems with the film transport mechanism. Reshaped the dented side plate to eliminate the interference with the crank mechanism, reshaped the view finder to allow it to open and close, reshaped the back to repair the dents and damage. On inspection the front plate is quite at an angle to the camera body, so not sure it will be able to actually take pictures in focus across the film plane. Likely needs a serious realignment, or perhaps it can't be re-aligned enough. Cleaned all of the optics and ground glass, surprisingly there are no real scratches or fungus problems. It is still missing is the focus magnifier plate and lens, as well as the eye level mirror.

Just ran the first roll of film and will develop soon to see if/how everything is functioning. Ordered a replacement leather kit, as the original was quite dried out and lost 15% of the surface/color. Currently in its naked form waiting for the new skin to arrive.

Realistically, this should have been a parts camera, but I had so little invested in it, what's the harm in trying to bring it back to life. Worst case this will be a shelf queen to look at, with about $100 invested total.

A Kirk Enterprises Arca-Swiss style base plate and tall universal L-bracket for the Pentax 6x7.

I searched for years for one of the original, discontinued Kirk L-brackets custom made for the Pentax 67, to no avail. This is the next best option.

I just got a well used EF 70-200 2.8 II. Very well used in-fact. But I needed for work and the price was excellent. So it was dropped and rebuilt by Canon, big deal. And the filter ring is bent so it can't take filters...big deal. I have to find a hood that locks on though. I don't think the bayonet was bent. It also doesn't make contact if you don't click it onto the camera juuuuuust right. But, the price was good.

It also came with a stupid camera dangling off the back of it. Useless thing. Some Mark IV or another.

I just bought (to be delivered in a while) an adapter to allow me to mount, cock, and fire RB67 lenses on a large format type camera. The lens board it's on doesn't fit anything I own, but it should be relatively trivial to transfer the mount and works to a board that fits my Century Graphic -- which is significantly lighter than my RB67 (both without lens).
