In the meantime, I bought this:

Minolta 7000 Maxxum. Cleaned out some battery corrosion & it started straight up. Now to put some film through & make sure all the electrics are working.

Avoid "rubbers", wear contact lenses.

Sorry I had to post a link to share this from google photos. How do you add such things as images to a post?

A used Sony RX100IV digital camera. I am going to mount it inside my new Chamonix 11x14 and fake people out.

Resize the image to something APUG likes (used to be no more than 800 pixels on the longest side);
Upload that file by clicking on the Upload Image or File Link at the bottom right of the posting window.
You will have a choice as to whether to display a thumbnail that expands on clicking, or a full size image.

Thanks a lot Matt

I'm a big fan of hers, she was the mentor of Richard Avedon when he was a young man, and they both worked at Harpers Bazarr.

I was at Paris Photo fair last weekend - and there were couple of prints from Ms. Bassman, she is really awesome.

A used Nikon 18-35 AFS lens for about under $400US. 7 months ago with a trip my tripod tipped over and the 18-35 AF-D broke the mount and snapped the ribbon cable. I put the broken lens back together, still works, requires manual focus and aperture ring, the focus ring is rough.

A filter set for my Minox III. Similar to Leitz tradition, every Minox model required a different filter mount.

A Diana F (1960's model) with flash and bulbs. I wonder whether new Diana F+ flash can fit into it.

A second Praktina FX, I saw this two months ago at a Camera Fair but didn't buy it until today, it came with a Carl Zeiss Jena 58mm f2 T Biotar which is in superb condition optically & mechanically, the lens alone is worth far more than I paid for the complete camera/lens. The body has a been engraved by the original owner lowering it's value slightly/.

Then three 5x4 DDS for £10 and a large Luc style shutter, this one is post WWII with flash sync.

It needs stripping and the rust removed from the shutter blades. It was another bargain :D

Just to give an idea of size here,s a few of my others with it:

The last of the big time spenders...bought 3 film cassettes for my Contax IIa cameras. Have so many, don’t see any more cameras or lenses to buy.

Hmm, I think I'm going to have to go out and buy a few more things to help me get through Christmas...:whistling::wink:

A Nikon F at an estate sale. It came with four lenses including a 55mm macro. I'd love to use these lenses on a digital full frame, but they need to be AI converted first.

Some 2mm wide self-adhesive foam strip and 1mm foam sheet from eBay to replace the light seals on two my Canon F1's.
