A brick of HP5+ (36exp), and eight rolls of Delta 3200. Tri-X was "up for rotation" this time (I use both HP5+ and Tri-X interchangeably), but the price of the latter compared to the former?!?!?! WTF?!?!
I have not heard the "Greatest" comments about 3200.
You obviously like it.....do you shoot in in just about any low-light application, or do you have a specific job for it.?

I just got a set of legs for a Majestic tripod, I have had the tripod for years but the legs were a bit worn, so I'll swap out the new legs for the old. I bought 10 of so newer plastic 4x5 film holders the same day.

New batteries for the stop-watch equipped watch that I haven't used regularly since I stopped having to keep time for billing purposes.
The stop-watch is a perfect complement to my new pinhole camera.

A 70mm f/2.8 lens for my Pentax Auto 110. In this format, 70mm is equivalent to 140mm in 35mm format. For this camera I have the 18mm, 24mm, and 50mm lenses as well. For now I've decided not to get the 20-40/2.8 zoom because the prime lenses and camera fit easily into a small pouch.

Pentax shown with normal 24/2.8 lens. Ektar box for 35mm shown for size comparison.

Do you find not having backlit compensation ability a hinderance? Ive often been tempted by pentax 110 but a super is hard to find and lack of exposure compensation keeps dissuading me from 110.

How loud is shutter? Quietest ive used is a minolta qt but mine broke and im looking to up my subminiature game hence torrent of questions

Lack of exposure compensation is a problem with 110 format cameras and not only because of backlit subjects.

To my knowledge, the few films available today are 200 speed and, as you probably know, the two selectable film speeds in 110 cameras were not really defined. If a cartridge tab presses on the cartridge lever, the speed used by the Pentax 110 is 80; if the cartridge tab is not present or filed away, the speed is 400. So, with today's 110 films (Lomography), using the 200 speed film has you shooting at 80 (a little more than a stop overexposure -- not too bad). Filing that tab off will have you using the 200 speed film at 400 - underexposure and not good.

As for the sound: its louder than a Leica M3. It's more on par with a Nikon S2, Contax IIIa, or a 1970's leaf-shutter rangefinder like a Canonet.

One more thing: I'm not the only person that's discovered front-focus issues. One website even had someone write what I was thinking: insert a shim behind the film "gate" of the cassette (between film and cassette back) so as to help with flatness and move the film closer to the lens. This would be needed for each cassette.

Yes only 110 cameras i have seen with exposure compensation are the pentax super and the second version of minolta zoom. Theres a few very nice looking 110s but that lack of just a smidge of control when its obvious meter is going to be fooled is frustrating.

I was planning on just reloading cassettes with double x. I can get 250 iso out of it with rodinal so was assuming i could get 400 out of it with microphen. Not sure if image would spill into the sprockets but that wouldnt be an issue for me.

Shuttee sounds good. I could live with that. I only have 16mms; a minolta 16 ii and a mec both of which are pretty loud and a qt which is whisper quiet.

Pentax always looks a very smart system and the only cost effective way to pick up a telephoto in submini. Focus is a worry tho - thanks for pointing that i will investigate further.

Sounds familiar. I acquired a 22"x24" easel.... now all I need is paper, purpose and a negative worth that sort of enlargement!

I also just received some ground glass clips and a knob from Mr. Jon Shiu here on Photrio to turn a parts camera into a fully usable Calumet C401 4x5 Monorail.

Two delicious lenses for two wildly different platforms this week, after months of not buying anything:

Micro Nikkor-P 55m f3.5 with the matching 1:1 tube (pre-AI c. 1970 with the solid rabbit ears)
Ektar 12" f4.5 in a #5 shutter (weighs about 5lbs and pending a homebrew CLA)

Two whole plate and one half plate book-form plate holders, and a modern 5x4 Riteway DDS film holder in mint condion, also a Pateson/Photax safe-light.

For free was a half a 50 sheet box of MGIV FB 12x9.5", half a 50 sheet box MGIV RC 10x8 and 3 half 100 sheet boxes MGIV RC 7x5 plus 3 trays about 10x12 and a larger wash tray :D

Light meter. Found one in Calgary and it's on it way here. The 60th anniversary model.

My Polaris (LM) was deceiving me after the first few exposure readings. I use "sunny 16" but a lot of the time we do not have the sun as is shown in tourist pamphlets.
