Batteries for the motor-drive. I need to go for rechargables in the future. Also need to make a homework to find out which type is the lightest in weight as my M-D takes 10 AA batteries.

My Canon AE Motor Drive FN for the New Canon F1 takes 12 AA batteries it's a terrific well made professional motor drive but with the camera weighs a ton and I never carry it round my neck.

Me neither. But I prefer light cameras as a rule, but for portraits motor is very convenient. Sadly M-Ds from the 70-90's are heavy and bulky for the speed they provide.

A Kodak Retinette because why not it was cheap enough and a little different. I really love junky antique shops.

1 box of 11x14 Photo rag
Various Portillo cases and folders
Printfile sleeves
Propack Ilford PanF+ 120
Propack Kodak TMY-2 120 (yea I'm giving it a second try now that my stock of Neopan400 and comparing it to Delta400 a second time now that I'm rotary processing and darkroom printing instead of scanning).

Bought a couple cheap Rolleicords on the bay. One K3B and one earlier one with the Bay fitting only around the taking lens. Shutter was not working at all on the earlier one, it now works. Need to buy/make a shutter tester before I can say it's any more accurate than "working" but at least it has come this far.

Been looking for some cheap broken Polaroids for the their mirrors but no luck just yet.

I think you will like TMax 400, Stone. Use it with an open mind, forget about preconceived notions and past experiences, and enjoy how it prints. It's really good film.

Well, I got to put the Bolt 310 li-ion battery for my flash to the test last night at the DC High Heel Race. Worked like a champ. Shot nearly 100 photos in an hour, and barely put a dent in the battery capacity (still showing 4/4 power dots). I'm guessing the high ISO I was using (don't shoot me for this, I went Digi) enabled me to run the flash at less than full power, so it didn't strain the external battery. But nice to know it works that well, especially if I want to shoot another big outdoor event, like the Mummers Parade in Philly, or New York Pride.

It just happened to be cheaper by a fraction (shockingly) and so I bought a box, I figure I should always try everything more than once as my skills and techniques change.

However if I like it I might kick myself for selling off my boxes of 4x5... Lol

Last related purchase... a couple 828 format spindles so I can run some film through a Bantam, even if it is just spooled and loaded in a darkroom and removed in a darkroom and straight to a jobo reel to process :whistling:
